We went into this new Assassin's Creed Valhalla TV commercial expecting overly serious dialogue and moody music, but instead, we got bouncy beats and protagonist Eivor giving us a cheeky crash course on how to be a Viking. It's honestly quite entertaining.
With Assassin's Creed Valhalla closing in on its 12th November release date, you can expect Ubisoft's marketing machine to kick into full gear very soon — especially now that Watch Dogs Legion is out. Don't be surprised to catch this specific commercial everywhere you look.

Great advert. Thumbs up from me!
Lets see the reviews first, Ubisoft seem to have lost their way over the years.
I feel like Guy Ritchie directed this
Ubisoft is better at commercials than at games sometimes.
Let's just hope that Valhalla is, you know, good.
Looks good, the voice i felt didnt match the guys face or am I going into to much detail when watching.
On another note just read a leak involving could be another cod modern warfare for 2021 maybe a second one, first one was awesome though last year.
I will wait for some reviews of sites I trust a bit. However it does look the most polished and graphical of the Ubi games coming out.
We shall see but plenty else to play.
Sack boy, Demon Souls etc
After many many (many) hours playing Origins and Odyssey, I'm all in for some Viking adventures.
Someone's been watching Guy Ritchie films
Ubi is lost in its own Hive......
Hoping good but cant trust so will check reviews first....
This is third on my list of things to play once I get a PS5, behind Cyberpunk and Miles Morales.
Pre ordered just like Watch Dogs 3 was..........England in digital no brainer.
As a reminder, that's November 10 for the Xbox Series X and S, and November 12 or 19 for the PS5 and PS5 Digital Edition depending on your region.
Assassin's Creed Valhalla launches on PS4 10th November https://www.playstation.com/en-gb/games/assassins-creed-valhalla/
Oooh cheeky ohoho
I've got it pre-ordered.
I'm a big fan of the last kingdom so getting to explore Britain during that time period is really exciting.
@ChaosBadger777
If you enjoy The Last Kingdom, check out Vikings. Both are great
@lacerz we enjoyed Vikings but stopped watching after season 2 and struggled to get back into it after an extended break.
The first assassins Creed I haven't prordered. Just can't trust them after odyssey.
@ChaosBadger777
I can understand that. The latest season of Vikings is available, and we started it, but we didn't get far into it. However, the Ivar the Boneless arc is pretty good.
Sony might wanna revisit their PS5 BC list because Ubisoft just announced a bunch of their games won't be BC on PS5, including some AC games.

"* on Xbox Series X|S, all our Xbox One games will be backward compatible. On PlayStation®5, all games will be backward compatible except the following ones: Assassin’s Creed Syndicate, Assassin’s Creed Chronicles Trilogy Pack, Assassin’s Creed Chronicles India, Assassin’s Creed Chronicles China, Assassin’s Creed Chronicles Russia, Risk, Star Trek Bridge Crew, Werewolves Within, Space Junkies."
@Menchi good spot! From an AC point of view, Syndicate is the big loss here, but from a VR perspective, very disapointed to hear about Bridge Crew. I wonder why?
@Rob_230 If Syndicate wasn't on the list I probably wouldn't have bothered posting it tbh, since other than that they're all pretty small games.
@Menchi OMG what will i do.
Great commercial, though the voice acting doesn't work...
My boy Magnus sound nice as Eivor. Still don't get why they gave him a chick's name though. I wonder if it's a way of saying that the female version is cannon without being cannon stuff...
@TooBarFoo umm no they didn't
@hoffa007 so?
I'm hoping this assassin has a sense of humour would be a refreshing change.
I'm a bit disappointed that after he said make an entrance all he did was hopped like 3 feet down into some shallow water, instead of jumping over to impale some fool tryin to stop them.
Ubisoft are not the same company as years before.. this game will be full of Viking packs or something.. or expect Sam fisher to turn up at some point during the game. They’ve wrecked many franchises!
